Harvard’s Handling Of Sexual Assault Reports Lambasted In Federal Complaint By Tyler Kingkade. Huffington Post 4/3/14

Saddened, but not surprised, that this shit is still going on at Harvard.

A friend of mine brought a rape accusation against another student to the Harvard Administrative Board, and spent a grueling semester dealing with the case (on top of dealing with having been raped), and then the case was thrown out after they called my friend’s boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend as a character witness (a character witness for my friend, of course, since, really, it was her character that was in question).

And the finals clubs were a whole other issue.  Guys joined them to advance their careers, but there was no equivalent for women, and yeah, a lot of the social life at Harvard revolved around them.  Probably.  I pretty much avoided them because of the way their parties were set up – men had to be members to go to parties, but any women who wanted to could get in.  Like a perpetual ladies night.
