Bisexuality and mental health care

Here’s some quick summaries of stats around bisexual mental health

And some regarding poverty and more general health as well:

Looking at the links on bisexual health, one thing they list is access to mental health care.  When I was younger and borderline personality disorder was the catch all diagnosis for messy women (before bipolar or whatever the new diagnosis is), bisexuality and the never well defined promiscuity (along with drug use, eating disorders and self harm, and depending on who you asked, body modification) were considered part of the checklist.  So I wonder to what degree psychiatric views on bisexuality are either scaring bisexuals away from mental health services or contributing to damaging diagnoses.
