Now my mother has decided she’s going to make a smocked dress for my daughter. Because, you know, the ridiculously expensive Jacadi dress that my daughter hates, because she hates dresses, which my mother knows, isn’t bad enough. This is going to end in tears. Probably my mother’s, followed by mine. Fuck.
