So, I don’t think there has actually ever been a time in my life when I was allowed to give blood. The one time I did (on my 18th birthday) I sort of lied about how recently I’d had unprotected sex with Gary, former IV drug users, DIY tattoo gun aficionado, and self-proclaimed fucker of “almost 500 women”. And it was pretty much down hill from there. Though I did get a lot stricter about condoms, not that the Red Cross cares about that.
