Sherlock, from the POV of Wiggins' common law wife

So, my self-insert Sherlock character is Em, Wiggins’ common-law wife who is taking none of Sherlock’s shit. She’s actually the reason he was getting high in a shooting gallery in HLV; he was so annoying when he was high, and so constantly on the verge of OD, that she kicked him out of their squat (which is in a totally different building and has functional plumbing, thank you very much).  I have a theory that high!Sherlock is constantly getting kicked out of people’s homes (probably because of the ODing thing) and that’s why is was in a weird drug grotto, instead of a dorm room, in the flashback in TAB.

And I’m imagining her giving Sherlock advice about John. Which would basically be, Stop mooning over him; it’s going to ruin your friendship. He keeps saying he’s not gay, and you’ve got to let him define that for himself. It’s 2016, and he’s in his 40′s, he’s had enough time to figure this out. You need to look after yourself first.  And, if you two did end up hooking up when you were both wasted, it would actually make things much worse.

Which is, I guess, why it’s good that I’m not writing Sherlock.
